Pre-board Check-in

Creating a fun pre-board check-in to alleviate pressures on the physical process and eliminate “no-boards” because of documentation errors — a win for both consumer and brand.

Passing Muster

Once we dove into oceanic rules & regulation for safety drills — we realized that the sailor could receive the emergency management information anywhere (in their room, on the app). The only regulatory mandate was that the sailor had to physically be at their muster station for roll call. Understanding this, we created a convenient way for them to consume the information and validate that they watched — so by the time they arrived at muster, they were in a cordoned off area toasting flutes of champagne instead of listening to the emergency message.

Disembarkation

These messages appear around the ship on disembarkation morning. At first, the Greenlight message: information on where they can sit down and eat before leaving. Yellow light: where they can grab to-go food and beverages. It ends with a charming little Redlight message From Richard.

Shake it like a Polaroid Picture

An undiscovered gem of a feature looking for its viral moment. Passengers wouldn’t be informed of this but if they were in the Virgin app and shook their phone, the screen would blast into bubbles and they’d be able to order champagne in 1-click.
